On 2/1/22 I lost one of my 9 month old twins from complications during a hospital stay after she contracted covid, Amelia Kay Peyton. Me my wife and our children had to move back from Missouri to Arkansas to be near family to try to get through the loss .

Two weeks after my daughters funeral I got served emergency custody papers for Whitlynn, my daughter with an ex. I had 50/50 up until this point. I could not afford a lawyer or handle going through court at that time. I was grieving.  I explained that she extended the date a month.

I’m driving 5 hours to court and they start setting the times for 9 am. I’m there though. Then I show up to one at 845 the court room doors are locked still I thing they don’t open til 9.

Well at 9, my ex’s her sugar daddy, which owned the company over these judges and lawyers retirement account, comes walking out.  They’d moved my court to 830. By that time they had ordered me to a mental health evaluation before I could get two supervised visits a month.

I was devastated I’d never gone over a week without my daughter. I didn’t go to the next couple court dates. I went to the trial with no attorney.  Her attorney told me nothing. They said it wouldn’t matter because I didn’t do a motion of discovery. I took it all to the chin walked out of there and still can’t see my daughter. Since I’ve done the mental health eval. There was nothing.  I’ve still not seen her in 2 years.
